The Sanskrit word “Yoga” comes from the word “Yuj” which means, “to Unite.” Yoga is the union of the individual with the whole of existence, a state commonly referred to as “self-realization,” “nirvana,” “mukti,” or “enlightenment.” Yoga is more than just a fitness method. A Healthy body and Peaceful mind are the primary benefits of practicing Yoga. But one must also be aware that they are merely the by-products of becoming a fully balanced and vibrantly alive being.
